My current state of the art

I have a confession to make. I lost my practice.

I don’t know how it happened. But during the last couple of months I almost didn’t practice Taichi or Qi Gong. Maybe once or twice a week, but that was it.

I really don’t know why. And obviously I am ashamed of it. I started learning Tai Chi and Qi Gong in 2004. And I even blog about it since 2012. So I am ashamed of blogging about it and not actually doing it myself currently.

Of course there are “reasons” why I don’t practice. But as we all know those “reasons” are just excuses. Trouble with the family, a new job, the weather etc. Yes, I know, those are all excuses.

And there is really no reason why not to practice. Especially when times are stressful. Then it is even more valuable to relax. To unwind.

Taking time for me and my art is not a matter if TIME. It is a matter of PRIORITY.

So I decided to put my practice back up on my priorities. And yes, spring makes it easier because now I can practice in my favorite place again:

Angelika practices Tai Chi & Qi Gong

I am really looking forward to spending some time there in the mornings.

Now what about you? Do you practice everyday? Do you want to join me?

I will have a look at some old material I once collected about practicing daily. I will share it here soon. Let’s get back on track together!

I will start with just 2 minutes a day. No matter what, even on the busiest day it is possible to do a little exercise. To nurture myself.

Happy Qi!

Angelika
